ATTENTION
Use fiber tape immediately after opening. Exposure to air hardens tape and renders it unusable.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Be sure to read entire instructions prior to installation of your Grip.
STEP 1 – PREP
I NSTALL INSIDE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, APX 65 TO 75 F.
Prepare surface by cleaning the area where the grip will be installed. Mark off area you want to place grip. If installing on wooden handle, tape off outside edges with masking tape to protect from resin.
STEP 2 – LACE
Stretch and place lacing rings to desired spacing.
Ensure that the rings are even and level on all sides.
We recommend 1” to 1.5” spacing on handles and 3″ to 4″ spacing on long tools.
STEP 3 – WRAP
WEAR PROTECTI VE GLOVES
Put on gloves and open Fiber Tape package.
Begin wrapping Fiber Tape apx 1” outside first Lacing ring. Start from working end of grip and try to end wrap towards shaft of tool/handle. Complete two layers and begin wrapping on an angle with 1” of overlay per wrap.
This will provide 2 layers of Fiber Tape throughout the grip.
WRAP TIGHT! Excess Fiber Tape can be trimmed with sharp disposable razor knife. Fold cut edge underneath itself before laying flat.
STEP 4 – WET AND COMPRESS
START A TIMER OR WATCH CLOCK FOR ACCURATE TIMI NG.
SPREAD EXCESS RESI N EVENLY ACROSS ENTI RE GRI P.
Slowly add water to wrap by dipping fingertips in water to wet gloves and begin rubbing onto fiber tape in rotational movements. Keep hands wet and briskly rub and compress grip. Continually rub and compress, wetting hands often for 6 mins.
At the 6 minute mark, wrap the grip tightly with the included cohesive compression roll. Maximize the coverage of the roll by limiting overlap and avoiding wrinkles. The cohesive material will stick to itself and can be left in place. LEAVE IN PLACE FOR 2 MI NUTES AND THEN REMOVE. 
LET CURE FOR 2 HOURS. WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING FOR THE FI RST 24 HOURS, UNCURED RESI N WI LL STAI N SKI N.
Resi n may conti nue to react and expand while curi ng. Expanded resi n “fi ngers” can be sanded down or scraped off as needed.
CARE AND USE
FIREWRAP® HRD IS A HARD POLYURETHANE FIBER REINFORCED TAPE THAT CAN BE USED FOR A VARIETY OF PURPOSES.
WRAP CAN BE PAINTED OR COATED WITH A TOP COAT OF YOUR CHOICE.
WASH DIRTY AND CONTAMINATED GRI PS WITH WARM WATER AND MI LD SOAP.
FIREWRAP® HRD WI LL NEED TO BE MECHANICALY CUT OFF TO BE REMOVED AN REPLACED. IT IS RECOMENDED TO REPLACE YOUR GRI P IF FIBER TAPE IS WARN THROUGH AND LACING RINGS ARE EXPOSED.
