FAQ’s

  • Exists an app for radio alarms?
Radio and an alarm clock are combined in bedr radio. You may pick any station from anywhere in the world thanks to the more than 7,000 radio stations available. Download right away; it’s completely free! available for Android and iOS.
  • A radio-controlled alarm clock is what?
A quartz clock or watch that is automatically synced to a time code sent by a radio transmitter attached to a time standard like an atomic clock is known as a radio clock, radio-controlled clock (RCC), or (incorrectly) an atomic clock.
  • Can BBC sounds be set as an alarm?
We do not currently have any plans to add the alarm clock functionality to the BBC Sounds App.
  • Can I set a radio alarm on my iPhone?
You’d think there would be a setting to make the alarm automatically tune to one of your choosing because your iPhone can pick up just about any radio station. The iPhone alarm may, regrettably, be configured to play a song from your Music collection but not to tune to a radio station.
  • Can iHeartRadio be used as an alarm clock?
Users will be able to use the service as an alarm clock or to set reminders thanks to a new alarm clock feature that iHeartRadio introduced. Users of iHeartRadio may now go to sleep and wake up listening to their preferred radio station thanks to the previously released Sleep Timer.
  • How dependable are radio-controlled clocks?
This takes us full circle to the question we started with: How accurate is a radio operated clock? The simple answer is that, provided they synchronize at least every other day and their quartz oscillator is of decent quality, they should always be accurate to within one second of UTC.
  • Work radio-controlled clocks in other countries?
Will my watch still work when I travel? Once they are no longer inside the range of their transmitter, all radio-controlled watches will function as a regular Quartz accuracy watch. The watch will not automatically adapt when switching across time zones; the user will need to do it.
  • Can I be woken up by BBC Sounds?
We made the decision not to include this function to the BBC Sounds app. We believe that instead of concentrating on developing app alarms, we should instead be working on other features. We most definitely don’t want you to miss that crucial meeting or trip, though!
  • How can I connect Alexa to my Radio 1 alarm?
On your tablet or smartphone, launch the Alexa app and choose Routines. Important: avoid choosing Reminders & Alarms. Enter the name of your preferred Carrie and Tommy or Hit Network podcast or radio station. You’re finished!
  • Can you set an alarm on Spotify?
On your Android smartphone, open the Clock app, then select the Alarm tab. 2) Press the addition (+) button to add an alarm and set the time. 3) Select the Spotify tracks you wish to set by tapping the Download arrow. 4) To set a Spotify song as an alarm, select Add new > Your Sound file.
