HOW TO INSTALL

First step is to remove the door trims by removing all the screws that are visible and the ones that are behind the plastic panels. Now pull the door off. Remove the previous wiring and crossover. Connect the factory speaker wire to the input of the crossover then split the high and low signals between the woofer and the tweeter. Line the speaker up where it is going to sit in the door and then mark out the screw position, rack out the cordless and drill the holes. Next step is to tidy up the wiring with cable ties so you do not get any annoying rattles from inside the door. Then connect everything together and put the door back at its place. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it possible for me to install car speakers myself?
The single most cost-effective upgrade you can make to your vehicle’s audio system is to install new speakers. Not only are aftermarket speakers reasonably priced, but they’re also frequently simple to install. Most of the speakers we sell can be installed with tools you presumably already have.
  • Is it true that replacing automobile speakers improves sound quality?
The Sound and Performance of Your Stock Car Audio Speakers Can Be Dramatically Improved. The best approach to improve the sound quality of your car stereo is to replace your standard speakers with aftermarket, high-performance car audio speakers.
  • Is it possible to improve automobile speakers without an amplifier?
Getting a non-factory amp may often make a significant improvement in sound quality while also giving your speakers the power handling they need to last as long as you’d anticipate.
  • Is it possible to add more speakers to my car?
  • You can either use an amp to connect additional speakers to your car audio or purchase a factory stereo with more speakers. Use an external amp and wire the speakers in series or parallel if you want to add more speakers without buying a new system.
  • Do you require an amplifier for your door speakers?
Getting an amp for them is strongly recommended, even if it isn’t strictly necessary. It might not just be about guaranteeing excellent sound quality while driving. An amplifier may be advantageous to the general ‘health,’ optimum performance, and maintenance of your door speakers.
  • Do my car speakers require an amplifier?
Regardless of whether it’s a poor built-in function or a separate, high-powered unit, every automotive audio system requires an amplifier. In fact, without one, a car stereo would be useless. Although many automobile audio systems and easy upgrades contain a dedicated amplifier to drive a subwoofer, most do not include one.
  • What is the distinction between two-way and three-way speakers?
A woofer and a tweeter are the two types of drivers in a 2-way speaker. The woofer is a speaker that only produces low-frequency sounds, whereas the tweeter produces high-frequency sounds. The mid-range, woofer, and tweeter drivers all work together to produce sound in a 3-way speaker.
