Firmware Update: To add the firmware version and options, use the
FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, sold separately. 2.
Bypass Option Programming: – Select the desired bypass option: UNIT
OPTION OPTION UNITE – Available options: A5, C1, AUX.1 – If the
vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin (A11), set it to
OFF. – If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set
function A11 to OFF. 3. Hood Pin Installation: – The installation
of safety elements is mandatory. – The hood pin is an essential
security element and must be installed. – If the vehicle is not
equipped with a functional hood pin, set A11 to OFF. – Hood Status:
The hood pin switch must be installed. 4. Qualified Technician
Installation: – This module must be installed by a qualified
technician. – Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to
the vehicle. 5. Wiring Connection: – Ignition Barrel: Connect the
corresponding wires for (+) ACCESSORY, (+) START, (+) IGNITION,
(+)12V, (-)LOCK, (-)UNLOCK, (-)ARM, and (+)PARKING LIGHTS. – OBD-II
Connector: Connect the CAN HIGH (3) and CAN LOW wires. – T-Harness:
Connect the 12V BATTERY wire. Note that the T-Harness current is
limited to a maximum of 10 Amps. If the parking lights (+) require
more than 10 Amps, connect the remote starter’s power directly to
the vehicle’s battery with the appropriate fuse. If necessary,
connect the remote starter’s fused 12V power wire directly to the
T-Harness. – Wiring Connections: Connect the corresponding wires
for (-) HOOD, (-) HAND BRAKE, (-) TRUNK RELEASE, (+/-) TACHOMETER,
(+) FOOT BRAKE, (-) GROUND OUT WHILE RUNNING, (-) DOOR, (-) UNLOCK,
and (-) LOCK. Note: Refer to pages 3-5 of the user manual for
further wiring connections and diagrams. Please ensure that you
follow all instructions carefully and consult a qualified
technician if needed.

If the parking lights (+) require more than 10Amp. connect the remote-starter’s power directly to the vehicles battery with the appropriate fuse.
Some remote starters can not be powered through Data-Link. In these cases connect the remote starter’s fused 12V power wire directly to the T-Harness.
