D8-MST2010
The D8-MST2010 is a car stereo system that comes with various features and connections. It includes connections for XM, GPS, USBs, ANT, RADIO, CAM MIC, AUX SUB, AMP RET, MWH, MIC, GPS, CAM, SUB 2, RADIO, SUB, and MWH. It also includes an XM SiriusXM Adapter Cable, a 4-PIN Plug, USB extension cables for phone and MDI/CP USB ports, a Bluetooth/WiFi Antenna, a Video Input for a front camera, a GPS Navigation Antenna, an AM/FM Radio antenna adapter, a Camera RCA Harness for aftermarket cameras, a Microphone for Bluetooth calling and voice command functionality, Factory Auxiliary Integration RCAs, and Subwoofer RCA plugs.
Product Usage Instructions
- XM: Use the SiriusXM Adapter Cable only when installing the SiriusXM SXV300 tuner for built-in satellite radio.
- 4-PIN: Plug in the 4-PIN Plug located on the main wire harness (MWH) for factory steering wheel control integration.
- USBs: Plug in the included 3ft USB extension cables labeled for Phone and MDI/CP USB ports. The MDI/CP USB port is on the left and the Phone USB port is on the right.
- ANT: Thread the BT/WiFi Antenna onto the back of the Dynavin for Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto.
- VIDEO: Use the Video Input for a front camera. Plug the yellow RCA on the front camera into the yellow RCA on the Dynavin.
- GPS: Use the GPS Navigation Antenna for time display on the Dynavin screen. It is magnetic and can be mounted inside the dash on top of anything metal positioned forward in the dash. If reception is not adequate, mount it on the inside corner of the windshield or anywhere with good reception.
- RADIO: Plug in the provided AM/FM radio antenna adapter to the back of the Dynavin, then plug in the car’s factory radio plug into the other end.
- CAM: Use the Camera RCA Harness for aftermarket cameras. Plug the brown RCA labeled CAMERA into the yellow RCA on the backup camera.
- MIC: Install the Microphone for Bluetooth calling and voice command functionality. It can be mounted on the steering wheel column, a pillar, or above the rearview mirror. Test before finishing the installation.
- AUX: If your car has an auxiliary plug, plug in the RCAs from the MWH (main wire harness) for Factory Auxiliary Integration.
- MWH: The black end of the Main Wire Harness plugs into your car’s factory plug.
- AMP RET: Use the red and white RCAs for some OEM amplifiers and with aftermarket amps. They are not used with base models unless an aftermarket amp is installed.
- SUB: Plug in the black SUBWOOFER RCA plug if your car has a factory subwoofer or the white SUBWOOFER RCA plug if the black does not work. For an aftermarket sub, plug in the RCA from the aftermarket sub.
D8-MST2010 Connections
- (XM): SiriusXM Adapter Cable: For use only when installing the SiriusXM SXV300 tuner for built-in satellite radio only.
- (4-PIN): 4-PIN Plug: Located on the main wire harness (MWH). Plug in here for factory steering wheel control integration.
- (USBs): “Phone” and “MDI/CP” USB ports: Plug in the included 3ft USB extension cables as labeled. From this view, “MDI/CP” is on the left, “Phone” is on the right.
- (ANT): Bluetooth/WiFi Antenna (for Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto): Thread BT/WiFi Antenna onto the back of the Dynavin.
- (VIDEO): Video Input: Mostly used with a front camera. Yellow RCA on the front camera plugs in here.
- (GPS): GPS Navigation Antenna: Is magnetic so can be mounted inside the dash on top of anything metal positioned forward in the dash. If reception is not adequate, can be mounted on the inside corner of the windshield or anywhere with good reception. Even if you don’t plan on using the GPS navigation, it is necessary for the time to display on the Dynavin screen
- (RADIO): AM/FM Radio: Plug in the provided AM/FM radio antenna adapter to the back of the Dynavin then plug in the car’s factory radio plug into the other end.
- (CAM): Camera RCA Harness: For use with an aftermarket camera. The brown RCA labeled “CAMERA” is plugged into the yellow RCA on the backup camera. Click here for more instructions.
- (MIC): Microphone: Must be installed for Bluetooth calling and voice command functionality. Can be mounted on the steering wheel column, a pillar, or above the rearview mirror. Test before finishing the installation.
- (AUX): Factory Auxiliary Integration: If your car is equipped with an auxiliary plug, you will plug in these RCAs from the MWH (main wire harness).
- (MWH): Main Wire Harness: The black end plugs into your car’s factory plug.
