Product Unpacking and Installation Guide

1.1 Packing List
The product package contains: a power wheelchair (including batteries), a charger, a manual, a toolkit and backrest, cushion, anti-tip bar and other parts.

1.2 Installation steps

  1. Unpack and take out the wheelchair and all components Take out the power wheelchair from its package and place it on a level surface.

  2. Unfolding the power wheelchair Holding the tube above the backrest with one hand and bracing the seat cushion with the other hand, push until the wheelchair is fully open.

  3. Securing the wheelchair with the buckle Hang the buckle into the slot, then press own on the buckle with your thumb until you are sure the buckle is locked.

  4.  Installing the backrest of the wheelchair Place the backrest in the proper position and press the sides of the backrest with your hands to make it fit perfectly.

  5. Installing the wheelchair cushion Place the cushion at the seat of the wheelchair and press the cushion with your hand to make it fit the seat.

  6. Installing the wheelchair levers Tnsert one end of the lever telescoping tube into the hole in the right or left armrest tube of the wheelchair, then lock the lever with the latch by turning it clockwise.

  7. Installing the anti-tip bar of the wheelchair Pull the black button under the motor and insert the anti-tip bar into the slot, wait for  the anti-tip bar to reach the proper position and release the black button.

Mounting wires of the controller To connect the battery and controller wires, please align the noteh part of the connector in the right hand with the bulge part of the connector in the left hand,  and then connect the two connectors after alignment,and finally use the locking ring to lock it tightly.

Controller Panel Operation Guide

2.1 Power Display
When the power is 100%, the indicator light color shows: 1 bar in red, 1 bar in orange, 3 bars in green
When the power is about 80%, the indicator light color shows: 1 bar in red, 1 bar in orange, 2 bars in green
When the power is about 60%, the indicator light color shows: 1 bar in red, 1 bar in orange, 1 bars in green
When the power is about 40%, the indicator light color shows: 1 bar in red, 1 bar in orange
When the power is about 20%, the indicator light color shows: 1 bar in red
CAUTION: The different colors of the indicator are only to reflect the urgency with which the battery needs to be charged.
2.2 Power Button

Please make sure to press the Power button after sitting firmly in the wheelchair, avoiding injuries caused by the movement of the wheelchair when boarding with power on. Press the Power button to power on and off, and do not touch the lever while the controller is turned on.

2.3 Horn Button
Simply press the button to sound the horn.
2.4 Speed Level Indicator
You can select 1 to 5 orange dots in the speed indicator, where 5 is the maximum speed.
Speed equivalence and recommended conditions:

  • 1-2
    The speed is equivalent to walking slowly, suitable for downslope, driving indoors or in narrow spaces.
  • 3-4
    The speed is equivalent to walking at normal speed, suitable for driving outdoors on a flat surface.
  • 5
    The speed is equivalent to walking fast, suitable for an open arca.

2.5 Speed Adjustment Button
The Speed Adjustment button allows you to set various forward and reverse speeds, and the setting is to set the percentage of the maximum power. Note the orange dots on the speed indicator. The more orange dots, the faster the power wheelchair runs.

2.6 Directional Control Lever

  • Manually operate the lever in the forward direction: Drive the power wheelchair forward.
  • Manually operate the lever in the backward direction: Drive the power wheelchair backward.
  • Manually operate the lever to the left: Drive the power wheelchair for a left spot turn.
  • Manually operate the lever to the right: Drive the power wheelchair for a right spot turn.
  • Release the lever and the wheelchair will quickly decelerate. Then the electromagnetic brakes will activate to stop the wheelchair.

CAUTION: Turn off the power after the wheelchair has completely stopped.

2.7 Charging Hole

The charging hole on the controller allows you to charge 2 batteries at the same time.

The orange LED on the charger lights up when charging starts.

The orange LED on the charger lights turns green when charging is complete.
CAUTION: Charging time is at least 4 hours, but may be up to 8 hours depending on Dattery condition and temperature.

Guidelines for the use of wheelchairs

3.1 Preparation before use

  1. It is recommended to fully charge the wheelchair before use

    You can charge multiple batteries at the same time through the charging holes on the bottom of the controller. You can also charge the batteries through the charging holes on the batteries, but you can only charge one battery at a time.
    CAUTION: The battery of your new wheelchair partially charged and you can travel short distances normally.
  2.  Before using the wheelchair, switch the wheelchair from manual mode to power mode first

Switching between the two modes is carried out by means of the red push rod on the motor.
The switching methods between the manual mode and power mode of the power wheelchair are as follows:
Power mode switching to manual mode:
pull back the red push rod on the motor, the wheelchair switches from power mode to manual mode.
CAUTION: When the wheelchair is in power mode, the wheels of the wheelchair are controlled by the motor, so you cannot push away the wheelchair manually.

CAUTION: When the wheelchair is in manual mode, you can push away the wheelchair, but you cannot control the wheelchair through the controller, and the controller will also beep.

3.2 Operation When Using

5.1 How to Install and Remove the Battery 

Removing the battery: There is a clamp underneath the battery. When the wheelchair is fully unfolded, you can open the clamp  upward with one hand, and then pull out the battery with the other hand.

Installing the battery: Align the slot at the bottom of the battery with the bulge part of the wheelchair’s battery mounting area first, open the clamp on the battery with one hand, and then push the battery forward with the other hand until the battery can’t be pushed any further, then you can release your hand opening the clamp.

5.2 When to Charge the Battery
If any of the following conditions occur, please charge the battery:

  • If you use your wheelchair continuously for more than an hour;
  • You have used more than three-quarters of your total mileage;
    When you have not used your wheelchair for more than two weeks;
  • If the current charge is insufficient to reach your final destination;

5.3 Tips

  • Before operating your wheelchair, make sure you know how fo use it properly. This includes knowing how to safely get in and off the wheelchair as well as how to control the wheelchair, etc.
  • Do not exceed the weight capacity of your wheelchair. Exceeding the weight capacity of your wheelchair will not only damage the Wheelchair, but will also endanger the safety of yourself.
  • Care should be taken when getting in and off of the wheelchair. Raising the footrests before getting in the wheelchair can make the transfer process safer and casier. Do not step on the footrests to get in and off the wheelchair, and make sure the controls are off when getting in and off of the wheelchair.
  • Stay at right angles when approaching ramps or slopes to avoid sharp tums, and set your wheelchair to a higher speed level when running uphill.
  • Regularly check the condition of the wheelchair, including brakes, wheels and bearings to ensure safe operation.

7.1 Parts damaged
You can contact us directly through the Amazon backend email, we will send you the required parts for free, please send us a photo of the desired parts as an attachment to an -mail.
7.2 Wheelchair beeps
At this time the wheelchair is in manual mode, please turn off the power and switch the wheelchair to power mode by pushing forward the red push rod next to the motor, and turn the power switch on the controller back on.
7.3 Wheelchair not energized
Please check if the battery is connected to the wheelchair. After confirming that the wheelchair and the battery are connected, and if the wheelchair still fails to power up, you can try to charge the battery by connecting it dircetly with the charger and make sure to charge it for more than 8 hours, which will be re-activate the battery.
7.4 How to stop a wheelchair
The wheelchair uses an clectromagnetic braking system that stops the wheelchair as soon as you release the lever on the controller.
7.5 Wheelchair mileage not as far as described
The appropriate temperature for battery use is 25 degrees Celsius, so the charge is only about 70% in winter. The mileage is also influenced by the user’s weight, the condition of the road and other factors.
7.6 Wheelchair unable to stand when folded
If you want the wheelchair to be able to stand when folded, you will need to install the anti-tip bar inside the socket above the motor. The anti-tip bar mounted below the motor can prevent the wheelchair from tipping backwards when in use. The anti-tip bar mounted above the motor allows the wheelchair to stand when folded.
7.7 Wheelchair moves on its own when getting in and off of the wheelchair
The wheelchair moving on its own means that the wheelehair is in manual mode, you need to switch the wheelchair to power mode before getting in and off of the wheelchair, so that the wheelchair does not move on its own.
(CAUTION: Before getting in and off the wheelchair, you can lift the armrests and footrests to make it easier for you to get in and off the wheelchair.)

Guidelines for Safe Use of Wheelchairs

8.1 General Driving Precautions
Any form of transportation can cause injury if used incorrectly, and careless driving can endanger your own safety, as well as the safety of others. Please follow the operating rules in the manual and use your power wheelchair appropriately.

  • Keep your hands on the armrests to control the wheelchair, make sure there are no obstacles in front of you, and fasten the seat belt.
  • Before you are familiar with the operation, please practice in a wide and safe place such as a park.
  • Practice driving adequately in a safe place, and remember what it feels like to travel, stop, and turn.
  • When you first get on the road, please travel with an accompany when you are sure it is safe to do so.
  • Please obey the traffic rules from the standpoint of a walker, and never see yourse lf from the standpoint of a driver.
  • Please travel on sidewalks or crosswalks, and keep to the right when there are no sidewalks.
  •  Please drive smoothly and avoid S-route and sharp turns.
    When using peumatic tires, maintain the specified tire pressure, because abnormal tire pressure may cause uneven driving experience or loss of excessive power.
  • For all models with optional headrest, the backrest cannot be adjusted on the slope.

Please keep the backrest vertical.

8.2 Avoid travelling under the following conditions or places, and travel with an accompany

  • In bad weathers (rain, fog, strong winds, snow, etc.).
  • When gets wet, dry it off immediately.
  • Travelling on poor surfaces (slushy and snowy roads, sandy roads, gravel and other rough surfaces).
  • Heavy-traffic road.
  • Unfenced side ditches, ponds, and other runway shoulders.
  • Crossing railway turnouts.
  • If you have to cross a railway track, pause at the turnout, make sure it is safe to the right and left, and check to make sure the railway track will not catch the wheels and ensure that the wheelchair is traveling at a right angle to the railway track.
  • This wheelchair is for single use only and should not be used to carry other people or objects or for towing purposes.

8.3 Uphill and Downhill Precautions 

  • Please avoid travelling on slopes, keep right angles when approaching ramps, avoid sharp turns, and control with special care.
    You must travel forward on both uphill and downhills.
  •  When traveling downbhill, please travel at the lowest speed possible.
  • Please avoid travel sideways or diagonally across steeply sloping surfaces.
  •  Do not drive on places with stairs.
  •  Please avoid crossing wide ditches.

‘WARNING:
Do not set the wheelchair to manual mode or power-off mode when traveling up or i downhill. In the event of a malfunction when traveling to a traffic intersection, immediately call for help from a passerby and immediately release the clutch and push it away from the scene, or evacuate to a safe area. Controller power indicator lighting “red” only refers to low battery. Take emergency i action, stop using and recharge promptly. For models with backrest and footrest adjustment, angle adjustment of the backrest and footrest is prohibited in dynamic situations.

8.4 Notes for accompanies
Make sure that the user’s feet are securely positioned on the footrests and the clothing does not come into contact with the wheels.

  • When going uphill, keep in gear to allow the electromagnetic brake to function.

  • Keep Dry
    Do not place the wheelchair in a wet place, e.g. when putting the wheelchair aside when showering, if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.

WARNING:
The assembly and material of the wheelchair cannot be changed without our confirmation.
Do not arbitrarily increase the weight, which may cause imbalance overweight on the wheelchair and cause accidents to the product and personal.
When there is an abnormal sound, please contact us immediately.

8.6 EMI protection
Keep the power wheelchair away from magnetic fields and large inductive electrical equipment when using, such as radio stations, television stations and underground radio stations, radio, cellular phone transmitting stations. Pay attention to whether there is a  source of electromagnetic interference in the vicinity, and try to keep away from and avoid the source of electromagnetic interference. The power wheelchairs should avoid electromagnetic interference.

Wheelchair Maintenance and Self-inspection

9.1 Cleaning wheelchairs and maintenance of tires and batteries

  • Cleaning wheelchairs
    The surface of the wheelchair is regularly cleaned of dust. Please use spray wax polish or wipe with a clean soft cloth.
  •  Tires
    Please check the wear condition of your tires regularly and replace them when the tread depth is one millimeter.
  • Batteries
    Please make sure that the battery is frequently charged. We recommend that the battery shall be charged before it is completely out of power, so as not to reduce the battery life.
  •  Fasteners
    Please check the fasteners of your wheelchair regularly and reinforce the fasteners promptly if they are loose.

9.2 Wheelchair Damage and Self-inspection
When the wheelchair malfunctions during use, please check the wheelchair after the power is turned off.
Malfunctions manifest in the form of: complete loss of power, and the indicator light on the controller disappears.
Inspection steps:

  1. Check the controller plug for looseness.
  2. Check the connector connecting the battery box to the controller for looseness, and the connector connecting the left and right motors to the controller for looseness. Please re-insert the connectors. When unplugging, hold the plug and do not tug on the wires to avoid unnecessary damage to the wiring. If power cannot be restored after the above steps. or if you have any questions when operating the above actions, please contact customer service immediately.

Product Warranty

  • Warranty: Your power wheelchair is carefully customized for you. Please contact us as soon as possible when there is a problem of the product during use to claim the warranty.
  • Warranty Exclusions:
  1. DSensory phenomena that can be recognized as having no functional impact.
  2. Service wear and tear or discomfort due to changes over time (natural discoloration of painted surfaces, plated surfaces, plastics, etc.).

• Unsuitability for warranty occurs as a result of the following:
