HONDA CIVIC SEDAN TAIL LIGHTS

INSTALLATION
■ STEP 1
– First pop open the vehicle’s trunk.
– Then, use a FLAT-HEAD screwdriver to remove all of plastic fasteners (9X) from the inner lining.
– Peel off the inner lining.
■ STEP 2
Next, remove the 10mm bolts
(2X) on the sides and the nut bolt
(1X) with a HEX- SOCKET wrench.
■ STEP 3
– Locate the white clip that is securing the wiring harness and release it.
– Next, unplug the connection from the OEM tail light.
■ STEP 4
Pull the inner tail light outward to pop out the OEM tail lights from the frame of the vehicle.
■ STEP 5
– Grabbing the new inner tail light and put it back on the seat and reconnect the wiring harness.
– Then re-install the bolts(2X)/nut (1X) that were removed.
– Repeat the same steps for the other side.
■ STEP 6
Remove the 8mm mounting bolts (2X) with a bolt screw-driver.
■ STEP 7
Carefully, pull out the outer tail light, so that it is able to pop out of the fixed chassis.
■ STEP 8
Disconnect all OEM tail light harness.
STEP 9
Reconnect all OEM tail lights harness to the new outer tail light.
STEP 10
– Line up the mounting tabs and push rearward to seat in place.
– Next, re-install the bolts (2X) that were previously removed.
– Repeat the same steps for the other tail light.
STEP 11
– Close the trunk and check that all of the lights are working properly.
– Now, let’s enjoy the new tail lights.
