60-0417WPC Yamaha R7/FZ07/MT07 Water Pump Cover
- Attach the skid plate to the Woodcraft cover by bolting it from the inside.
IMPORTANT – USE BLUE THREAD LOCKING COMPOUND ON THE THREE SKID PLATE MOUNTING BOLTS. Coat the threads completely and allow the thread-locking compound to be fully set before use.
- Be sure that the rubber pad adheres to the back of the cover in the pocket just above the bolt locations.
- Install the Woodcraft cover using the included mounting hardware. The torque for these mounting bolts is about 7 ft-lbs. The location of each bolt and a disgram showing the 4 bolts used for this installation is shown at the right. We were able to replace the water pump bolts without losing any coolant, but it is advisable to put a drain pan under the bike in case there is any leakage.
- Start the motorcycle and inspect for any leaks before riding.

Installation of Woodcraft Billet Covers involves removal and reinstallation of certain factory components such as fasteners, alternator stators and oil-retention gaskets.
