2012 – 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

NOTE: Many newer models have B-pillar handles and even overhead on the ceiling that can be used for some of the top mounting locations. Check to see if you prefer to use these factory locations as the nets typically have enough adjustment to allow for this option. If your vehicle does not have handles in desired locations or you prefer to install mounting points for better fitment, please follow the below steps.

1. Power Drill
2. Torx T-45 and Ratchet Wrench
3. Raingler C115L Chassis Anchor Set
4. Metal drill bit (5/32”) and Phillips #2 bit
5. Rubber mallet or similar hammer
6. Pilot Hole Punch
7. Raingler C100L D-ring tether kit.
8. Optional panel removal tool

INSTALLATION

Step 1

• Grasp the C-pillar upper trim panel pulling down from ceiling towards center of Jeep. Pulling the back-door weather stripping will allow you to get a good edge to wiggle and pop it loose. If you’re having trouble, a panel removal tool can sometimes help.

Step 2

• Remove upper seat belt Torx Bolt (normally a T-45) and install anchor with strap as shown to allow the strap to feed around the back of the reinstalled plastic trim panel.

Step 3

• Pre-tapping your location with a punch and a small rubber hammer will make drilling the pilot hole for the footman mount easier. Watch our video for in-depth detail on this sequence here: https://youtu.be/yR4lfAPPLb8 The Footman mounting hole works well at about 1-1/4” above the factory small hole shown here just next to the door opening. Mark, tap and drill the rear hole and position the D-ring strap to center between the panel pegs (shown in step 4 image) so that the trim panel will reassembly properly.

Step 4

• Loop the D-ring strap up and over the plastic panel negs at the top of the trim piece and shown.

Step 5

• Line up the plastic panel snaps and press and pop into place leaving the ring exposed.

Step 6

• Repeat for the other side and loosely install the net (RAINGLER label side up)

Step 7

• Lift up floor panel and loop lowest strap around the floor support riser and repeat for other side.

Step 8

• Tighten net up with the seats in the folded down position first the top straps, then the lower straps and final tension the middle area with the outer side straps.

Step 9

• Once net is fully in place with all six straps, tuck excess into buckle, and wrap around and tuck in to give product a clean finished look.

Step 10

• Stock Photo Shown. This is similar to how your Jeep should look like now, use seats up or down. Easy to drop the top down out of the way if not needed or completely remove and stowaway in storage area. Please use common sense and do not leave pets unattended in a vehicle. We recommend and use spray on dog deterrent on the net while training.
