Fluidmaster 6100 Universal Tank to Bowl Gasket Replacement

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

TOOLS NEEDED

1. Turn off the water supply and flush the tank. Remove excess tank water with a sponge. Disconnect the water supply line from the tank fill valve.
2. Unbolt the tank from the bowl by loosening the nuts below the toilet bowl. Lift the tank from the bowl.
3. Remove the old gasket. Slide the new sponge rubber gasket (small side down) over the nut on the threaded end of the flush valve.
4. Place the tank back on the bowl so that the sponge gasket fits evenly and bolts line up the tank to the bowl. If bolts are worn, replace with Fluidmaster model 6101 bolts or 6105 bolts.
5. Install a rubber washer, metal washer, and then nut onto the bolt. Repeat for the second side of the tank/bowl. Tighten the nut evenly. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN or the bowl may crack. Reconnect the water supply line.
