POLARIZED PLUG (120V models only)
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
Warning: This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done only by authorized service personnel.
ELECTRICAL CORD
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- If an extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and
- The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

GETTING STARTED
- Remove all packing material, stickers, and the plastic band around the power plug.
- Remove and save literature. Please go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty.
HOW TO USE
- Make sure the juicer is unplugged. Place the juice container onto the base. Rotate the container clockwise to lock.
- Line up the cone tabs and basket slots as shown and snap pieces together.
- Hold the basket steady and rotate the cone to adjust the hole size/amount of pulp.
- Place cone assembly into juice container.
- Plug in a citrus juicer.
- Push down on the cone with halved citrus fruit. This will start the juicer.
NOTES
- The motor stops automatically when the pressure is completely released.
- This juicer features auto-reverse; it automatically reverses reaming direction from time to time and when pressure is released from the juicing cone and reapplied.
- This juicer has a dual-purpose cone for juicing small citrus (limes) and large citrus (grapefruit).
CARE AND CLEANING
Note
Always unplug the citrus juicer before assembling, disassembling, and cleaning.
To separate the juicing cone from the pulp control basket: Turn over and press on the tabs, while supporting both parts.
CLEANING
- Wash cover, juicing cone, pulp control basket, and juice container with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack only).
- Wipe the base clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the base in water.
Note
Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleansers to clean any parts.
