Warranty

Period : The warranty period is 36 months, for endusers who do not use the product into a professional or commercial activity. If the product is used into a professional activity or industrial process or for commercial purpose the guarantee period will be 6 months.
Limited warranty: Warranty obligates to manufacturer ENERGEEKS S.L. to repair or replace, free of charge, all components subjected to verified manufacturing defects. It will be ENERGEEKS´ Technical Service responsibility to repair/replace the components in a short period of time, according to the internal commitments of service.

Warranty shall not include:

Consumables.
Cause damages to persons, other living entities and objects was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environment conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and specification.

Warranty expiration:

After warranty period of 36/6 months, from the date of purchase.

Instructions contained in this manual have not been observed.
If an unsuitable or incorrect use of product has been confirmed.

Product has been modified or repaired by any unauthorized service center or personnel.

Enviromental Protection

In accordance with the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/UE (RAEE) and the national legislations this directive transposes, this product must not be disposed together with household garbage. If the welding helmet is not any longer in use it must be disposes of properly in accordance with the established collection system at your area for this kind of product.
Waste separation of used product and packaging allows material recycling for re-use. This process helps to avoid environmental pollution and reduce the demand of raw materials.

Once downloaded, the app will ask you to register as a user. Enter your email and password and select the country where you live. A confi rmation code will be sent to the email that must be entered in the app to complete the process. If you don’t receive the code, please check the spam.

General description

The Energeeks Protect Plus alarm system protects your home intelligently.

Its small panel can manage up to 200 wireless sensors and quickly process any movement, alerting you to an intrusion in tenths of a second.

The 4.3-inch color TFT screen stands out for its elegance and integrates into any part of the home, providing a touch of class. The touch panel and its intuitive interface provide maximum functionality, combining speed and ease of use.

Simultaneous Wifi and GSM connectivity protects your home against any intrusion, notifying you by call, message, and application notification.

Through GSM, you can call and send SMS messages to six different phones, and per application, it will notify all users who have the alarm in your application, there is no user limit.

It integrates a 110db siren in the control panel, in addition, you can link 120db outdoor extrobe sirens with light, (not included), which guarantee the deterrent effect against an intrusion.

The system allows the use of intelligence or intelligent scenarios, which allows you to automate its functions based on the status of other devices, weather factors or the location of your mobile phone, or, in the same way, make other Energeeks devices, react to the alarm status, thus creating a live product environment.

Keep a record of all activity, both in the alarm center and in the application, keeping you informed at all times of what is happening in your home.

WiFi installation

To add the alarm system to the application, it is necessary that the house has an internet connection, if you do not have internet in the house, use the GSM connection.

Before you start, download the “Energeeks 3.0” application on your mobile phone, it is available on Google Play, APP Store and APP Gallery.

The application will request the necessary permissions for its operation, or that of the devices to be installed, it is necessary to grant the requested permissions to guarantee the correct and complete operation of the application and/or the devices.

The location permission is important when installing a device because, in addition to being necessary for the phone to share the SSID of your Wi-Fi network with the application, it is also used to set the date and time of the device based on the geographic location of the facility.

Once the device is installed you can disable location permission if you wish, although this will lead to the loss of some smart location-based features.

Bluetooth installation

When turning on the alarm for the first time, an assistant will guide you step by step through the installation.

If the alarm was started before, please press menu / settings / wifi, enter the user password and activate “Airlink”.

In the application, press the +, and select «add device». The application recognizes the alarm by bluetooth, press add and then press the blue +, enter the password of your Wi-Fi network, and finish the installation.

Once connected to the 2.4ghz Wi-Fi, open Energeeks 3.0 and follow the steps below:

In the application, press the “+” in the upper right corner and select “add device”.
Select Protect Plus and follow the instructions in the app.

Connection failure: If the installation process fails, please make sure the Wi-Fi network is 2.4Ghz and the password of your Wi-Fi network is correct.

Important: The intelligent functions of current routers may prevent the device from connecting, even if all the steps are correct. They can also cause a device to go offline from time to time for no apparent reason. If this happens to you, please contact our technical support service.

GSM Installation

The GSM mode consists of a telephone connection between the alarm and the user’s mobile phone.

This mode requires a SIM card capable of making phone calls and sending SMS messages. It doesn’t matter if you have data or not, the alarm will not use it.

The card can be prepaid or contract, in case of prepaid, monitor the balance and its expiration, since in case of running out of balance, the alarm will remain incommunicado, and will not be able to notify you.

The SIM card must not be protected with a PIN. If you have a PIN lock on startup, insert the card into a mobile phone, to disable the startup pin.

Then insert the card in the alarm center and it will automatically recognize it, you will know that the SIM is operative because the lines that start the coverage will appear.

Configuration of alert numbers

Once the SIM is recognized, you must enter the telephone numbers to which you want to be notified, both of alarm jumps and of events that occur, for example when the system is armed or disarmed, or if there is a power outage. electrical supply.

On the alarm panel, press «menu» and then press «phone», here you can call a phone to check that the card is active, to enter the phones press «configure» and enter your user code, by default 1234.

The system allows you to enter up to 5 phone numbers. Enter the numbers you want to be notified in order of priority, since the system will call in that order, until someone answers and deactivates it.
To the right of each number, there is an icon of a phone to activate calls, and another of an envelope to activate SMS messages, so you can configure the type of notification for each number.
Once you have added the phone numbers in which you want to receive GSM notifications, press save.

The alarm will only call you in the event of an alarm trip, you will receive the rest of the notifications by SMS, in addition to the application message if the alarm has an internet connection.

You can also call the alarm phone, the alarm answers the phone and you can hear what is happening. The alarm only receives calls from the phones that it has in the contact list, and that have the call option activated.

SMS Codes

You can activate or deactivate the alarm via SMS by sending one of the following codes:

away arm «Complete armed»

stay arm «partial armed»
disarm «Disarmed»

The team only responds to messages sent from phones that are in your contact list and that have the message option activated.

Basic functions

Enable/disable

Arming: A complete arming of the system is activated, activating all installed sensors, except sensors that are manually deactivated.
Partial: The alarm is partially activated. Only sensors that are in partial mode will be activated.
This configuration is designed, for example, to activate the alarm at night while inside the house, since, in this case, we need the sensors that cover the perimeter of the house to activate, but not the sensors inside it.

Disarm: Deactivates the alarm. All sensors will be disabled, except sensors in always on mode.

Accessories

The system allows you to link different accessories, opening sensors, motion sensors, remote controls or outdoor sirens, among others. Supports up to 160 sensors and 6 remote controls.

To link a sensor, press «menu» on the alarm center and select accessories. The system will ask you to enter the user code (default 1234), then select the type of accessory you want to install.

Select sensor to install sensors of any type, controller to install remote controls, doorbell to install a wireless doorbell, keyboard to install an external keyboard and siren to install an outdoor strobe siren.

After selecting the type of sensor you want to install and customize its settings if necessary, press link and activate the sensor so that it is recognized by the system.

The activation of a sensor consists of making it send the signal so that it can be captured by the control panel. To activate a door sensor, open the door or separate the actuator from the sensor, if it is not installed, to activate a sensor. motion sensor, wave your hand in front of it, or to activate a remote control, simply press any button.

In the installation of sensors, you can differentiate between four options, depending on the type of sensor or the utility that is going to be given to it.

Sensor
Press sensor and you will enter the list of installed sensors. To add a new sensor, press the «+» at the top. The system allows you to link four types of sensors, each with the specific configuration for that type of sensor, although this configuration can be customized.

Input: Specific for door/window opening sensors (EG-SA003).

This sensor is activated by default both in full and partial arming, respecting the alarm delay. It provides information on the status of the sensor, to know at all times if a door is open, regardless of the alarm status, and allows specific configurations for doors, such as the activation of an entrance chime or an open door/window reminder.
Motion: This profile links motion sensors (EG-SM003). By default it is configured only for full arming and not for partial arming. It can be configured as silent so that it notifies both by application and by phone call, but without the panel notifying or triggering the siren.
SOS: I specify to link sensors that we need to notify even when the alarm is deactivated. This mode is designed for smoke sensors, flood sensors, or co2 sensors, among others.

General: Allows the installation of a sensor of any type, when this is not specific to the system, compatible with sensors from any manufacturer, that work in 433Mhz radio frequency, of the ev1527 type.

All sensors can be custom configured, or modified later. So you can determine if a specific sensor should be disabled, enabled only for full arming, enabled for full and partial arming, or always enabled, even when the alarm is disabled.

You can also specify if the sensor will respect the alarm delay, or if it will only warn in silence.
