Thermal Safety Shutdown
To prevent overheating, the Varia device may turn off when operated at a high intensity in warm, stagnant air. The status LED is red until the device cools down. You should use the device outdoors.

Low Temperature Battery Conservation
To extend the battery life of the device, the Varia device is limited to medium, low, and flash modes when used in very cold temperatures.
