ZUKUNFT OL24-D022A Home Energy Star Dehumidifier

ZUKUNFT’s STORY

Zukunft is an American luxury home appliance and specialty retailer headquartered in New York City. In 2021, Zukunft introduced the industry-leading dehumidifier as we know it today. We’re proud to build on our legacy as the leader in dehumidifier traceability with responsibly sourced, expertly crafted dehumidifiers that celebrate technology in all its forms.

Our Origin
The outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020 confined us to our own houses, enveloping us in an air of suffocating monotony Back then, Charlie was a student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor studying remotely at home due to the pandemic. During this period of solitude, Charlie grew determined that everyone deserves a yogic lifestyle, even under the bleak reality.
To convey his message, Charlie chose air treatment products in households as the medium, blending in a touch of soothing aqua into the appliances’ designs. Meanwhile, Charlie drew inspiration from luxury clothing, therefore, elegance and creativity had become his antithesis to home appliances’ predominating monotonous old-fashioned design. With the brand concept “encounter the future”, Charlie hopes to invigorate everyone not to be bothered by the bleak moments, but instead to discover hope and possibility in the current world.

Our Style
Guided by his unique perspective, Charlie challenges home appliances’ predominating monotonous old-fashioned design, aiming to infuse modernity into the conventional aesthetics of the product design. Hoping to “encounter the future”, Zukunft blends luxurious aesthetic style with advanced technology, forming technologically innovative appliances that are simultaneously stylish and elegant. Charlie’s Zukunft is, therefore, unique for achieving a balance between appearing aesthetic and being practical. Zukunft represents a liberation: the brand transforms a field that is previously monotonous into a stage for possibilities, bringing a fusion of efficiency and aesthetic creativity to our generation. Essentially, youths’ pursuit of innovativeness and beauty is central to Zukunft’s philosophy.

Our logo
Black hole is central to Zukunft’s product designs: it epitomizes inclusivity and symbolizes humans’ perpetual pursuit of novelty and innovation through exploring the unknown. Additionally, black hole resembles the new era, which is vibrantly advanced and full of novel possibilities. Both the design elements of black hole and future align with Zukunft’s ideal-to lead a futuristic life.

STORAGE & DISPOSAL

STORAGE

If you are not going to use the appliance for an extended period of time (more than a few weeks), it is best to clean and dry it completely before preserving the appliance in a ventilating, dry, corrosive gas-free, and safe indoor space.
The appliance must be kept in an upright position when in storage.

Note: In order to avoid the damage of parts and mold, the carburetor in the device must be dried. Take it out and leave it in a ventilated place for a few days to dry. Another method is to adjust the humidity level to 5% higher than the ambient humidity level, so that a fan can blow to dry the evaporator for several hours.

DISPOSAL

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Instead, use designated collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the available disposal collection system.
