- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
- Never add ingredients to the container while the appliance is operating.
- The container must be properly in place before operating the appliance.
- To wash the mixing shaft, unplug the mixer and remove the mixing shaft from the mixer.(See “Cleaning Your DrinkMaster.”)
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Do not use the appliance for other than the intended purpose.
- Check that the appliance is OFF () before plugging the cord into a wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control to OFF (); then remove the plug from the wall outlet. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
- CAUTION! In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

- This appliance is intended for household use only.
- This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug. This type of plug has one blade wider than the other. The plug will fit into an electrical outlet only one way. This is a safety feature intended to help reduce the risk of electrical shock. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing
the plug. If the plug still fails to fit, contact a qualified electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug by modifying the plug in any way. - The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the DrinkMaster. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

Using Your DrinkMaster®
BEFORE FIRST USE: Wash the container and mixing shaft before using.
- Place the mixing shaft in the unit by tilting the head back and inserting the mixing shaft until it “snaps” into place.
- Set the Control Switch to (off). Plug into an electrical outlet.
- Place ingredients to be mixed in the container.
- Place the container onto Drinkwater, making certain that the container’s top edge is behind the container support and the container bottom is on container rest.
- With the mixing shaft “snapped” in place, move the Control Switch to the desired speed to process. Start with Speed 1 (LOW) then increase to Speed 2 (HIGH) if desired.
- For hard ice cream or very thick shakes, remove the container from the rest and support. With the mixing shaft still submerged in the mixture, move the container around for more thorough mixing.
- When finished, turn the unit (off) and tilt the head up.
- Pour contents from the container and serve.
Helpful Hints
- Most drinks can be mixed in less than two minutes.
- Whole fruit should not be used when making fruit drinks. Mash or puree fruit; add to drink, and mix.
- The container must always be filled to at least the minimum level mark or the liquid will not reach the mixing shaft. When mixing thin mixtures, such as powdered diet drinks, do not fill above the maximum level mark (12 ounces/355 ml) or liquid may overflow while mixing.
- For best results, all liquid ingredients should be as cold as possible. Milk drinks will taste best if milk is ice cold. The colder the milk, the thicker and more frothy the drink.
- All syrups and powdered mixes should be added just before mixing to prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the container.
- The DrinkMaster does not crush ice. For best results, use crushed ice if the recipe calls for ice.
Cleaning Your DrinkMaster®
- Unplug unit. To remove the mixing shaft, grasp and pull down to release from the head. Wash the mixing shaft in warm, soapy water.
- The metal mixing container should be washed in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- To clean DrinkMaster, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive cleansers of any type.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
Recipes
Always add liquid ingredients first then the remaining ingredients. Start mixing on 1 (LOW) then increase Speed to 2 (HIGH). Process to desired consistency, about 1 to 2 minutes.
