GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ELITE IR
TIP: Since your elite monitor updates every 30 seconds you can turn loads such as appliances and lighting on and off to see how much those loads consume and how much they cost to operate at different times of the day.
AUTO RE-LINKING FEATURE
Lost Link, Dashes On-screen?
In the rare event that the display becomes un-linked from the transmitter, you need not do anything. The monitor recognizes when such an event takes place and within 10 minutes, re-links automatically to the transmitter. This may occur due to interference from other wireless devices in the home such as weather stations and baby monitors, or sometimes when the AC/DC adaptor is plugged into the display.
Manual re-link may be required after changing the batteries. If your system does not auto re- link within 15 minutes please follow this procedure:
- Dashes shown on screen indicate that the monitor is not linked to the transmitter.
- Press and hold the Link button on the monitor for 2 seconds. The link icon will flash on-screen. Now press the Link button on the transmitter.
- The link icon will become solid and real-time energy data will be displayed within 30 seconds.
Tip: Pressing and holding the link button for 5 seconds on the monitor and then releasing may allow the system to re-link after a battery change without having to access the transmitter.
SETTING THE TIME & DATE ON YOUR ELITE IR
Step 1
Press and hold the TIME SET button for two seconds. The time setup will flash on the monitor.
Step 2
Set the hour by using BWD & FWDs. Press mode/set once to save the hours. Repeat for the minutes, using mode/set to confirm. Once the correct time has been set, push mode/set to save and move onto date setup, following the same procedure.
The elite displays the time using the 24 hour clock format as opposed to the 12 hour format. You can use this handy chart to convert one format to the other.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PRICE SETTINGS
Your efergy energy monitor comes completely pre-programmed from the factory with all the correct time of use tariffs and prices. This includes weekend off peak and seasonal tariff changes.
In the event that your cost of electricity changes significantly over time you may, if so desired, enter the programming and change the prices using the following steps.
- Enter the settings by pressing and holding mode/set for 2 seconds. Skip through each setting by repeatedly pressing mode/set. By-pass the tariff period settings for FROM and TO for each tariff until you get to the pricing settings for each period.
- Use the BWD and FWD buttons to set the price and press mode/set to confirm.
- Next follow the same routine as above for winter tariff prices.

Change Periods & Units
Push the history button to access daily, weekly and monthly stored data. Use the backward and forward arrow buttons to scroll between dates and compare consumption data. Press the mode/set button to change the information display from kWh to costs and CO² emissions.
