    Off: Device switched off
    Green, permanently: Device operational
    Green / orange, blinking: Configuration password not set. Without a password the device’s configuration data is unprotected.
    Red, blinking: Charge or time limit reached
  2. Fan
    Green, permanently: CPU temperature OK
    Orange, permanently: CPU temperature > 55°
    Red, blinking: Hardware failure of the fan or CPU temperature > 60°; additional acoustic signal
  3. COM
    Off: No session logged on for the serial configuration interface
    Green, permanently: Serial configuration session logged on
    Orange, flickering: Data transmission during the configuration session
  4. WLAN
    Red, permanently: The LANCOM WLAN controller is not yet operational; one of the following elements is missing:
    • Root certificate
    • Device certificate
    • Current time
    • Entropy for the DTLS encryption
      Green, permanently: At least one active access point connected and authenticated.
      Red, blinking: The device is operational but not connected to an active access point.
  5. New APs
    Orange, blinking: At least one new access point for authentication has been found.
  6. Lost APs
    Red, blinking: At least one expected access point has not been found.
  7. CA
    Off: Internal CA switched off
    Green, permanently: Internal CA switched on and ready
    Red, permanently: Internal CA switched on; an error has occurred
    Orange, permanently: CA switched on and ready; request pending
  8. VPN
    Off: No VPN connection active
    Green, permanently: VPN connection active
    Green, blinking: Establishing VPN connection

ETH 4 individual ports for 10 / 100 / 1000-Mbps Ethernet, Ethernet ports can be electrically disabled in the LCOS configuration. Each Ethernet port can be freely configured (LAN, WAN, monitor port, off). LAN ports operate in bridge mode or isolated. Additionally, external DSL modems or termination routers can be operated at the WAN port together with policy-based routing.
USB USB 2.0 Hi-Speed host port for connecting USB printers (USB print server), serial devices (COM-port servers), USB data media (FAT file system), or supported mobile radio USB modems; bi-directional data transfer available.
Serial Interface Serial configuration interface / COM port (8-pin Mini DIN): 9,600 – 115,000 baud, suitable for optional connection of analog / GPRS modems. Supports the internal COM-port server.
