Does not heat up?
A1: Please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.
- First, turn the temperature knob after turning on the circuit and observe if the heating indicator lights up, which proves that the machine is heating up.
- If the item can heat up normally, please check whether the heating duration is reached. The length of heating time is affected by many factors.
- We recommend heaters for capacities of up to 500 gallons. If this range is exceeded, heating will take longer. (For a 500-gallon pool, it takes about 9 hours to raise the pool temperature by 10 degrees Fahrenheit.)
- Besides, it is necessary to check whether the water can flow through normally.
- If the water flow is small, the temperature will rise too quickly and trigger overheating protection, which causes the item to stop working. There is a black knob on the side of the temperature knob.
- Once you unscrew the black cap, if a clear plastic rod pops out of the centre, just press it back in.
Q2: Pipe does not fit?
A2: Our item is equipped with two types of pipe fitting adapters, 48 mm and 50 mm. 50mm pipe adapters are compatible with American Standard 2″ pipes.
