• Never use this unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it is not operating properly, if it has been dropped, damaged in any part, leaked, or accidentally dropped into water or liquid. Take the unit to an authorized service center by the manufacturer for inspection and / or repair.
• Use this blender only for the purpose for what it was designed and described in this manual. Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not place the unit near or over gas or electric ranges, or near hot ovens.
• You must not use it outdoors.
• Watch out! Turn off and unplug the appliance before start cleaning, changing accessories or storing it.
• Always turn off and unplug your blender immediately after use.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not insert anything into the cavities of the appliance.
• If any of the enclosures of the appliance break, disconnect immediately from the electrical network to avoid the possibility of an electric shock.
• Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to transport, lift or disconnect the blender.
• Never wrap the power cord around the appliance. Constantly check the perfect condition of the cable, as damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. Do not let it get wrinkled or trapped.
• DO NOT INSERT ANY STRANGE OBJECT INTO THE CONTAINER, once your blender is turned off and unplugged you can use a rubber spatula to move the food, which must be removed from the container before plugging the blender again.
• IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO PROCESS HOT LIQUIDS OR INGREDIENTS, AS THEY MAY GET PRESSURIZED AND SUDDENLY EJECT THE BLADES SYSTEM CAUSING SOME PHYSICAL INJURIES.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use of the device.
• Never overfill the blender container, be sure not to fill above the maximum level mark (17 oz)
• Make sure the unit is on a flat, safe surface before it is tured on.
• Make sure all electrical connections are clean and dry.
• Make sure that the lid is properly closed before turning on the unit.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
• Do not move or turn around the appliance while it is in operation or connected to the outlet.
• When removing the blades for washing, be sure to assemble them correctly. Before using again make sure they are completely dry.
• Do not use the unit with timers or any device that automatically turns the device on and off.
• Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply, before handling, changing accessories or have contact with the moving parts of the appliance.
• Do not move or turn around the appliance while it is in operation DI connected to the outle

HOW TO EXTEND THE LIFETIME OF YOUR PRODUCT

• Do not remove the container from the blender body until the blades have stop completely. This action Will prevent the wear of the drive system.
• Make sure to assemble correctly the integrated blade assembly and the rubber ring to the container before using the appliance to avoid damages to the sealing ring or any leakage that could damage the motor.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Use and care

• Before each use, fully unwrap the power cord of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly attached.
• Do not use the appliance with empty container.
• Do not use the appliance if the on/ off function does not work.
• Do not move or turn around the appliance while it is in use or plugged to the outlet.
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated on the container (17 oz)
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when it is not in use, before removing or installing accessories and before starting cleaning.
• Extreme precautions when handling the blades; either when emptying the container, removing or putting them on the appliance and during cleaning. The blades of your appliance are extremely sharp and could cause damage.
• Before each use, check that the moving parts are not misaligned or locked, that there are no broken parts or other conditions that may affect the proper functioning of the appliance.
• Never leave the device connected and unattended, this will also save energy and extend the life of the device.
• Do not forget to position correctly the sealing ring with the integrated blade assembly, since food or liquids could leak or the sealing ring could get damaged by the blades.
• IT IS RECOMMENDED NOT TO USE THE BLENDER FOR MORE THAN 2 CONTINUOUS MINUTES. FOR EVERY 2 MINUTES OF USE, YOU SHOULD ALLOW ITTO COOL DOWN FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE USING IT AGAIN.
• Your product, is not recommended for processing hot liquids or foods.

Assembling the container

• Insert the sealing ring into the integrated blade assembly.
• Screw the blade system to the bottom of the container by turning it counterclock Wise to tighten.
• Place container assembly onto the motor base fitting the tabs of the blade coupling into the slots in the base and turning clockwise. The click sound (Easy Fil Technology) indicates that the container assembly is correctly attached lo the motor base.
• To remove the container from the motor base, turn it counterclockwise and lilt.

How to use

• Put inside the container the food that will be processed without exceeding the maximum indicated level (17 oz).
• Saew the blade system to the bottom of the container and assemble the container onto the motor base. Both procedures are indicated in the “Assembling the container’ secUon.
• Make sure the blender is turned off, the control must be selecting ·o· position and plug the blender to the electric outlet.
• Turn the control panel to the right in order to use the continuous speed of the blender or to the left to select pulse function.
• When finished processing, turn off the blender by selecting ·o· position with the control switch and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
• If you want to take out your recipe, remove the blades system from the container by screwing them clockwise and screw the lid instead.

Unclogging the engine
It could happen that food residuals may get under the blades or even the blend itself could be too thick and the blades could stuck, in that case stop the blender by selecting ·o· (off position) with the control switch, remove the container from the motor base, shake il well or unclog the food residuals with a rubber spatula, once you unclog the residuals. take the spatula outside the blender, screw the blades system again. put the container back onto the motor base following the section ‘Assembling the container’ and continue to blend.

CLEANING

• Turn the control switch to the off position *O” to stop the blender and unplug il from the power outlet. Wail until the appliance has completely cool down before start cleaning.
• Clean the motor base unit with a lightly wet cloth with a small amount of soap and dry.
• Do not apply solvents or any cleaning agent with an acid PH degree such as bleach, nor abrasives. Do not let water or any other fluid to enter into the ventilation grid, nor submerge the motor base in water or allow the direct contact of the waterjet.
• In order to clean the container, lid and blades system, remove the container from the motor base and wash it with a soft sponge and dish wash detergent. Allowed to completely dry before setting it back.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

This appliance requires just a Little maintenance since it does not contains any parts which could be repaired, so that do not try to repair them by yourself. If necessary take your appliance lo an authorized seNice center or directly lo the original place of purchase.

STORAGE
Be completely sure the appliance is turned off and unplug it from the electrical power supply, clean it as described on the CLEANING part and allowed to dry completely, then you can storage it in a clean, dry place away from the reach of the children or people with any sort of disability.

DEFECTS AND REPAIRMENT
If the electrical power supply cord is damaged in any way, it should be replaced directly by the manufacturer or in an authorized seNice center in order to avoid any personal hazard. Do not try to repair it yourself, do this for any other defect which may further appear.

This “blender’ is guaranteed by TAURUS for a 2 years lapse, starting from the purchase date. TERMS In order to apply the guarantee, you will only be asked to present the product itself and this policy, properly filled and sealed along with the actual date when this appliance was purchased, by the place where it was originally acquired or any authorized seNice center you are able to find through the directory attached within. Our guarantee includes repair, replacement or the physical change of the product or any attachment or spare part free of charge, this includes the labor as well as the shipping cost. The time spent to repair this unit will be a thirty working day period starting from the date when the unit was received by the authorized by the manufacturer service center where this guarantee can be claimed.
