Product Information
The iStream DockFree Bluetooth Audio Receiver is a device that allows you to transmit music wirelessly from your digital device to any speaker or dock with a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a range of up to 33 feet and supports the A2DP profile for high-quality audio streaming. The device can be charged using the included USB cable and has a power button for easy operation. It also features LED indicators to indicate its status.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the iStream, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Connect the USB end of the provided cable to your PC and the charger plug to the charging jack of the iStream. Charge the battery for a minimum of 3 hours. The red LED will be on during charging and turn off when charging is complete.
- To pair the iStream with a transmitter device like an iPhone, smartphone, or tablet, follow these steps:
- Make sure the iStream is turned off.
- Press and hold the power button for 6-7 seconds to activate pairing mode. The LED will flash red and blue alternately.
- Activate your device’s Bluetooth function and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. Select “AIS01F” when it is found.
- If prompted for a PIN, enter “0000”.
- If prompted by your device to connect, select “Yes”.
- After successful connection, the blue LED will flash twice every 5 seconds.
- To power on the iStream, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds.
- To power off the iStream, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds.
- To enter pairing mode again, ensure the iStream is turned off and press and hold the power button for 6-7 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
- Make sure the audio output on your device is set to Bluetooth/AIS01F for audio streaming.

Operation
Charging the battery
The battery is not fully charged and it is highly recommended that you charge AIS01F before you begin using it.
Note: Using AIS01F “out of the box” will not harm the device. You will experience reduced battery life as the unit will not be fully charged.
Connect the USB end of the cable provided to your PC and the charger plug to the charging jack of AIS01F. Please charge the battery for a minimum of (3) hours. The Red LED will be on while charging. When charging is complete, the red LED will turn off.
Note: The pairing mode will last 2 minutes. AIS01F will switch to the standby mode automatically if no devices can be connected within 2 minutes.
Pairing with the transmitter such as iPhone, smartphone, and tablet:
Please make sure the device supports A2DP profile. The pairing procedure will vary depending on the actual device. Please refer to the user guide of your device for detail instructions. The general pairing procedures are as follows:
- Make sure AIS01F is turned Off.
- Activate AIS01F pairing mode by press and hold the power button for 6-7 seconds.
- Activate your device’s Bluetooth function and set your device to search for Bluetooth devices. Select AIS01F when it is found.
- For transmitters with Bluetooth version 2.1, you will not need to input a code. If you are prompted for PIN, please enter “0000”.
- If prompted by your device to connect, please select “Yes”.
- After connecting successfully, the blue LED will flash twice every 5 seconds.
Note: Please make sure the audio output is set to Bluetooth / AIS01F for audio streaming from the device.
