FEATURES
This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food in “COLD” mode. The unit can chill to approximately 32°F/18°C below ambient temperature. In “HOT” mode it can store hot pre-cooked food and drinks. The unit will heat to approximately 135°F/ 57°C. The unit is powered by a 12 Volt DC system such as a vehicle or can be powered from a house AC system.
MODE SELECTION
- COLD – Move the sliding switch to “COLD”, the unit will cool and a green light will be on.
- HOT – Move the sliding switch to “HOT”, the unit will warm and a red light will be on.
- OFF – Move the sliding switch to “OFF”, the unit will be off.
MAINTENANCE
- Keep cords and cigarette lighter sockets clean at all times. Small tobacco or dirt particles in the socket or the plug may affect performance.
- The motor, fan, and control panel vents should be cleaned periodically. While the unit is unplugged, clean the fan blades and motor shaft using a paintbrush or other soft-bristled brush. Remove all hair, dirt, or dust that may have accumulated.
- To clean, wipe the inside with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. A mild soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odors remain, household bleach or baking soda may be added to the washing solution. Keep the lid open for several hours after cleaning to allow the interior to thoroughly dry and to prevent odors from forming in the cooler.
- For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will eliminate objectionable odors.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Turn the unit OFF and wait at least 5 minutes when changing between heating and cooling modes.
- When heating, the aluminum lining is hot. DO NOT TOUCH LINING – burn hazard.
- When using in the car, there will be a drain on the car battery if the engine is off.
- Ensure the fan is able to rotate at all times.
- The unit is not designed for heating cold foods.
Warranty
This product is warranted to the retail customer for 90 days from the date of retail purchase, against defects in material and workmanship.

Yes, this unit can be used in your car. However, the unit will only cool when it is plugged into a 12 Volt DC system such as a vehicle, or can be powered from a house AC system.
Foods that are pre-cooked or pre-cooked and chilled may be stored in this unit. Foods that are precooked and frozen may also be stored in this unit as long as they have been thawed before being placed in the cooler. Foods that are not precooked or frozen should not be stored in this unit.
The refrigerator and any other 12-volt equipment are powered by the auxiliary battery. You may prevent the starting battery from being drained by powering your refrigerator with an auxiliary battery. To keep things cold, these coolers make use of Peltier technology. According to this principle, heat is transferred from one dissimilar metal to the other when an electrical current is sent across them. The inside is cooled by removing heat from the surroundings, much like with a compressor and gas refrigerant.
A refrigerator typically needs 12 to 24 hours to cool down and achieve the necessary 40F storage temperature for food safety.
If you carefully follow the instructions, your tiny fridge can be defrosted in 24–48 hours. Just disconnect your refrigerator to begin the defrosting process. Plan ahead for this initial action, and do it quickly.
Before placing food inside the refrigerator after connecting it in, wait two to four hours and make sure the appliance is chilling. Food should only be added to the freezer once it has reached a temperature of 0°F (-18°C).
It is crucial that your portable fridge maintain a temperature between 0°C and 5°C in order to preserve the freshness of your food for a longer period of time and stop bacteria from forming.
Soft-side coolers don’t use any energy but are quite effective at keeping things cold and making ice. Some freezers may even continue to operate for up to 24 hours without power.
