PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

OPERATION

Turning on and off
To turn on/off the device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

Charging
If the battery level is low, connect the bundled microUSB cable to the device. Plug the USB plug to the power supply.
Attention: charge the device fully before first use.

Uploading files to internal memory
To upload files to internal memory, connect the device to a PC with provided microUSB cable. After connection, the device will show in operating system. Copy the files to the main directory of the device, or organize them in folders.

Memory card installation
Slide a microSD card, as shown on the picture below, until it clicks.

  1. History browser- lists the last opened books
  2. Music- music player
  3. Ebook- book library on the device
  4. Photo- views pictures stored on the device
  5. Explorer- file manager
  6. FM- radio
  7. Calendar
  8. Settings- change the device settings
  9. Battery level
  10. Date and time

Main menu

Reading books
To open a book stored on the internal memory or on the memory card, open the Ebook or History Browser menu. Select a book and press the OK button.

  • Press the Forward or Backward button to switch pages.
  • Press the Back button to go back to the books menu.
  • Press the Zoom button to change the font size. Select the font size and press the OK button.
  • Press the M button to go to the reading settings menu:
    • Go to page- input the page number to go to that page
    • Bookmark- manage bookmarks in the book
    • Zoom- change the font size
    • Flip time- change the automatic page flip time
    • Refresh mode- change the page refresh mode
    • Night mode- reverse the font and background color
    • Font type- change the font
    • Margin- change the margins size
    • Search mode- search the book for specific text.

Listening to music
To play the music stored on the internal memory or on the memory card, open the Music menu. Select the track and press the OK button.

  • To play or pause the track, press the OK button.
  • Press the Left or Right button to skip or fast forward the tracks.
  • Press the Up or Down button to change the volume.
  • The music can be played while you read a book. While the music is playing, press the Back button and go to the Ebook or History Browser menu.

Viewing pictures
To view a picture stored on the internal memory or on the memory card, open the Photo menu. Select the picture and press the OK button. The picture will be shown.

  • Press the Left or Right button to change the picture.
  • Press the M button to change the picture viewing settings.
  • Press the Zoom button to zoom in the picture.

Explorer
File Explorer can browse files on both internal and memory card. This is done in the same way as browsing books or music files.

FM radio
FM radio allows for listening to radio stations. Connect the headphones (they work as an antenna).

  • Press the Up or Down button to change the volume.
  • Press the Left or Right button to change the frequency.
  • Press the M button to change the settings:
    • Press the Forward and Backward button to navigate the settings. Press the M button to confirm option.

Calendar

  • Press the Left or Right button to change the days of week
  • Press the OK button to switch between changing months and years
  • Press the Up or Down button to change a month or a year

Settings

  • Language- change the system language
  • Date and time- set the date and time
  • Auto off time- change the time of idle, after which the device will shut down
  • Standby time- change the time of idle, after which the device will go to standby mode
  • Clear history- delete the history from the History Browser menu
  • Restore default- delete the settings and restore them to factory state
  • System information- view the information about the system

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible solution
I can’t turn on the device •  Check the battery level. If it is low, charge the battery.

•   Press and hold the Reset button.

 

I can’t open a file

Check if the file is compatible.
I can’t use the device while it is connected to the microUSB port. The device will be blocked while it is connected through the microUSB port. It prevents the damage of the internal memory and/or microSD card.
The device does not recognize   the microSD card •  Take out the memory card and make sure that it is installed correctly.

•  Turn off and on the device

•  The device will recognize the cards with capacity up to 32 GB
