SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instruction manual and safety instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference. Failure to comply with the below directions can cause a risk of product damage and/or user injury!

  1. Use only authorized accessories.
  2. Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. In case of damage, contact an authorized service point for check-ups/repair.
  3. Clean this device with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this product.
  4. Do not dispose of the device or its accessories in the fire.
  5. Protect this product and its accessories from moisture, humidity, water, and any other liquid. Avoid using/storing it in extreme temperatures. Do not expose it to direct sunlight and sources of heat. Do not store or use in a dusty environment. Avoid using it in a strong magnetic and strong static environment.
  6. Do not place magnetic storage media near the device. Radiation from the device may erase the information stored on them.
  7. This product is not a toy, do not allow children to play with this device or its accessories. Note: the device contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard!
  8. While using the headset, if the volume is excessively high it may cause hearing damage. Please adjust the volume of the player to a moderate level and balance the time of use.
  9. Discontinue using the device if you experience skin irritation or any other discomfort while using.
  10. DO NOT wear the headset when sleeping.
  11. When driving, you are advised to use the Bluetooth headset to ensure your driving safety. It is dangerous to directly use the phone when driving.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Kruger Matz KM0490 Traveler K20 Bluetooth Headset

BASIC OPERATION

Turn on/ off: Press and hold the MFB for about 3 seconds. A voice prompt will be issued, LED indicator flashes blue once every 8 seconds.
The headset will automatically turn off if the pairing is not completed within about 5 minutes.
Press and hold the MFB for about 4 seconds to turn off the headset. A voice prompt will be issued, and the LED indicator flashes red two times, then goes off. Mute microphone: Press the mute button once to mute. Press again to unmute.
Factory settings: During charging, press and hold the MFB for about 4 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue.

CALL MANAGEMENT

Answer call: When there is an incoming call, you will hear a voice prompt.
The LED indicator flashes blue once every 4 seconds. Press the MFB to answer the call. During the call, the LED indicator flashes twice every 10 seconds.
End call: Press the MFB.
Reject call: When there is an incoming call, press and hold the MFB for about 2 seconds.
Last number redialing: Press the MFB twice.
Call switching*: During the call, press and hold the MFB for about 2 seconds to transfer the call to the phone (LED indicator flashes red twice every 10 seconds).
Press and hold the MFB again to switch it back to the headset (LED indicator flashes to blue twice every 10 seconds).
* The phone must support the call switching function.
Voice dialing*: Press and hold the MFB for about 1 second.
* The phone must support the voice dial function.

MUSIC PLAYBACK MANAGEMENT

Play/ pause: Press the MFB once to pause music (LED indicator flashes blue once every 8 seconds). Press the MFB again to play music (LED indicator flashes blue twice every 8 seconds).
Previous/ Next track: Press and hold the – button for about 2 seconds to go to the previous track. Press and hold the + button for about 2 seconds to go to the next track.
Volume adjustment: Press the – button to decrease volume. Press the + button to increase volume.

MULTI-POINT FUNCTION

  1. Pair the headset with device A, and then turn off Bluetooth function of device A.
  2. Turn off the headset.
  3. Turn on the headset again into pairing mode.
  4. Turn on the Bluetooth function of device B and connect with the headset.
  5. Turn on the Bluetooth function of device A; the headset will automatically connect with device A (device must support auto connect function); otherwise, pair the headset with device A manually. Now the Bluetooth headset has connected with devices A and B.

MULTIPLE CALL MANAGEMENT*

  1. When a new call is incoming during the current call, press and holds the MFB until a sound is issued to reject the incoming call and keep the current call.
  2. Press the MFB once to answer the incoming call and end the current call.
  3. Press the MFB twice until a sound is issued to answer an incoming call and put the current call on hold.

* The function will operate properly if the phone supports multiple call management functions.

PAIRING

  1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the MFB for about 5 seconds, and the headset will turn on and automatically enter the Bluetooth paring mode (LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately).
  2. Please keep the headset and an external device close to each other while pairing.
  3. Enable the Bluetooth function on your external device and search for the headset (KM0490). For phones with Bluetooth versions lower than 2.1, you need to input a password “0000”.
  4. Connect with the headset.
  5. Successful pairing is signified by a voice prompt (when the devices are paired, a blue LED flashes once every 8 seconds).

Notes:

  • If pairing is not completed within 5 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off. In that case, repeat the pairing process according to the instructions given above.
  • Every time the headset is switched on, it will connect to the last connected device automatically. Please note, that your device must be on with the Bluetooth function turned on.
  • When the devices are paired but the operating distance between them is exceeded, you will hear a voice prompt and the devices will disconnect. The Voice prompt will sound every 15 seconds. If the devices re-enter the operating distance within about 10 minutes, they will pair automatically. Otherwise, the headset will turn off.

CHARGING

  1. Connect one plug of the micro USB cable into the micro USB port of the headset.
  2. Connect the other plug into an AC charger or compatible PC USB port.
  3. The red indicator is on when the headset is charging.
  4. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the headset.
  5. When the battery is fully charged, the blue indicator is on.

Notes:

  • When the battery level is low, the LED indicator flashes red twice every 8 seconds.
    In that case, use the supplied micro USB cable to charge the device.
  • The headset will automatically turn off when plugged into a charger.
  • Fully charge the headset before first use.
  • The producer recommends using only supplied/authorized charging cable.
  • The battery is non-removable. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the headset; otherwise, the headset may be damaged.
  • A fully charged battery can provide up to 7 hours of talk time and 5 days of standby time. The actual talk time and standby time may vary with different settings, ways of usage, and environments.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the device and its accessories using soft and dry cloth.
  • Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this product.
  • Store the device turned off and safely protected.
  • If the headset is not used for a long time, store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
