Product Information: Cutting Lighting Panels from Plaskolite
The Plaskolite lighting panels are designed to be easily cut to fit your desired size or shape. This process can be done using a few simple tools and following the steps outlined below.
Tools Needed
- Straight edge
- Scoring tool
- Workbench
- Diagonal cutters (for lighting louvers)
Step 1: Measure and Score
- Measure the desired size of the lighting panel and clamp it securely to the workbench using a straight edge.
- Using the straight edge as a guide, lightly pull the scoring tool across the smooth side of the panel. Repeat this scoring motion until you have scored halfway through the panel thickness.
Step 2: Snap Off
- Hang the scrap portion of the panel off the edge of the workbench.
- Apply gentle downward pressure to the scrap portion to break it off from the main panel.
- Note: It may be helpful to reclamp the panel before snapping off any excess.
Step 3: Lighting Louvers
