Testing conducted by Apple in May 2022 using preproduction MacBook Air systems with Apple M2, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 24GB of RAM, as well as production MacBook Air systems with Apple M1, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD, as well as production 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5-based MacBook Air systems with Intel UHD Graphics 617, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD. Adobe Photoshop 23.3.1 tested using the following filters and functions: Emboss, Minimum, Sharpen Edges, Rotate Image, and Ripple. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air. 2 Testing conducted by Apple in May 2022 using preproduction MacBook Air systems with Apple M2, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 24GB of RAM, as well as production MacBook Air systems with Apple M1, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD. Feel how thin and light MacBook Air is

Close MacBook Air and point out the sleek design.

Have your customer hold MacBook Air to feel how light it is, and mention the solid unibody design.
Talk about the versatile Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports for connecting displays and accessories.
On a model with M2, show the MagSafe 3 port for charging. Mention that the cable attaches and detaches easily with magnets.

Show images on the displays

Open Mail or Safari and point out that text looks like it’s on a printed page.
Open Photos and double-click a photo to highlight the detail.

Show a colorful photo. Say that the display supports P3 wide color for incredibly vibrant colors.
On MacBook Air with M2, mention that the display is 25 percent brighter than the previous generation, so it’s easier to view in bright conditions.

Try the Magic Keyboard

Ask your customer to type a few sentences. Point out how comfortable the keys feel and how quiet the keyboard is.

Open a few apps from the dock to show how quickly they launch.
Open the Mac App Store and search for popular iPhone apps, like HBO Max or Among Us. Mention that iPhone and iPad apps are available on Mac models with M-series chips.
