Kyla KSEN-231 Smoke Detector User Guide
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Kyla Smoke Detector is a stand-alone smoke detector with an in-built 3.0V 1650mAh Lithium battery that can last for 10 years. It utilizes a photoelectric sensor that allows it to be more sensitive to detecting slow smoldering fires which generates thick black smoke and little heat.

PLACEMENT TIPS
NOTE
- Smoke detector should be installed on ceiling along an escape route (e.g living room)
- To prevent false alarm, avoid installing in kitchens and bathrooms.
- For multi-storey homes, minimum 1 smoke detector per store is recommended.
- Remove “silicon protection cover” before use.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Ceiling mount with screw.
Rotate clockwise until click
Press the hush button for 0.5sec, red LED will flash rapidly with alarm.
(If LED does not flash, please remove the main unit and attach to the selling mount bracket again)

NOTE
- To confirm that the detector is operational, perform a regular button test.
- Should the device fail to operate correctly, please contact us.
- Should the device indicate a battery fault warning, replace the smoke detector.

The Manufacturer warrants its enclosed smoke detector to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 2 Years from Date of purchase and 10 Years Battery Warranty. The Manufacturer makes no other express warranty for this smoke detector. No agent, representative, dealer or employee of the company has the authority to increase or alter the obligations or limitations of this Warranty.
The Manufacturer shall not be obligated to repair or replace units which are found to be defective because of damage, unreasonable use, modifications, or alterations occurring after the date of manufacture. In no case shall the Manufacturer be liable for any consequential or incidental damages for breach of this or any other Warranty, expressed or implied.
